This Saturday, we decided to cook dinner at our place. In the end, we had Maite and Naim as guests. We’d prepared some duck as a main course, followed by a tiramisu with a twist (the twist being that we replaced the normal biscuits in the recipy with some Swedish “pepparkakor”).
The duck, unfortunately, ended up being a little bit “hard to break down”, in spite of Naim’s assurances that it was cooked “just right”. I guess it’s one of those meats where the cooking time has to be judged really well… The tiramisu, on the other hand, was pretty much spot on I reckon.
But the most important things is, I think, that we all had a great evening – Naim and Maite are both very much into movies, so that is at least a subject we could dwell on at length!
