Hike around Cap d'Antibes

It’s been a while since our last hike, so we figured now was a good time to take out and dust off the hiking boots, and hit the road. Winter-time, we tend to stick to the coastal hikes, so that we can make the most of the winter sun… This time we picked one of our favourite hikes, the circuit around Cap d’Antibes.

The weather ended up a bit cloudier than what we’d have liked (the last couple of weeks have been pretty much perfect weather-wise), but that was kind of appropriate in a way, since we were greeted with a lot of post-storm debris at the beginning of the hike. The rest of the hike was much the same as it always is – stunning coastal views, impressive villas behind high fences and a lot pedestrian traffic, enjoying the scenery and the weather.

Actually, we were happy to realize they have extended the walk, it now does a tour around the Eden Roc villa, offering nice views towards the west from Cap d’Antibes. So that was a nice little extra, to finish off a nice Sunday hike!
